Check out the new rides section. It now displays who has recently updated their ride profiles and who has the most views, horsepower, comments, etc. In order to get parts of it to work, I had to clean up the horsepower, et, and mph (trap speed, not top speed!) fields. That means yours might have got messed up. Also, from now on you can only enter in actual numbers. For instance, "~150" will not work because "~" is not a number. Find a bug? Please send it over to robert@vtrides.com. Oh PS- We have over 400 members! W00t!

As you can see there have been some minor changes in terms of the layout. The majority of the site updates involve stuff that happens underneath as well as many obvious bug fixes. Here is a list of the bulk of the changes that were made:
-Existing Users can sign up again using the same email address, unlike before.
-Registration from the forum has been killed, meaning there is now only ONE way to register on this site.
-The pagination for the rides section has been made to work with 200+ rides, unlike the last, which was meant for 20.
-You can now browse by make.
-The popularity contest known as "most popular ride" is gone. You can still see the most 20 viewed rides via a link in the rides section.
-There are now ways to get from the forum back to the main page.
-You can now click on the persons username (if they exist on the whole site and not just the forum) from the forum to get to their ride.
-You can now actually reset your password.
-Obviously the banner
-Random color chooser. (Hint: click on vtrides.com at the bottom to switch colors)
Of course, be sure to notify me via the forum or email to let me know if there are any bugs, etc.

-Top 5 Rides based on hit count
-PHPBB Forums
-The ability to leave comments on rides
-New fields to enter in your aim/yim/msn/icq info
-The ability to hide your email address and comments from the public
-The ability to "Invite a Friend", where you can enter friends' email addresses and an invitation will be sent to them.
-The ability to sort by member, make, model, or year on the "Rides" page.

We've been receiving tons of feedback and ideas for enhancements on how to improve the site. I just wanted to say thanks for the good ideas and keep them coming! The VTR Staff is currently taking a break from all of the long hours of coding but will be getting back to work next week to start adding new features. Check back soon!
