Hey nice Eclipse guy, one of the most favorable body styles of mine. Welcome to VTRides, check out my ride, and let me know what you think. Take it easy.

Yeah i've got an exhaust, intake etc...on it now. I just haven't had time to get up any new pics, maybe i'll see if i can get that done this week. But nice Eclipse man, the color red suits that bodystyle. Later
bolial
:
Well I have always been a huge fan of black. It's a modest color, or shade however you want to put it but it still has that edgy feeling to it. But on the eclipse the red does look good. Don't get me wrong, if it was mine black would be the color I would go with if I was going to repaint it but all in all what it comes down to is your own personal preference with a little of your personality wrapped up in it too.
bolial
:
Yeah i agree. The midnight blue is definatly a nice color too man.
bolial
:
Yeah I know I gotta. Maybe i'll try to get some up in the next day or two. Later bro
CANADIAN INTEGRA
:
I may take you up on that sometime, gotta get my hood fixed first, someone keyed the crap out of it at my work. damn HATERS, if someone keyed their ride, they'd get pissed too. Take it easy.
bolial
:
Hey wassup bro, I got some new pics of the Teg up there, leem know what you think.
bolial
:
Thanx dude i've put a lot of time & money into it. Yeah I think those pics are definatly better than my old ones.

Interior is not as good as the outside because I haven't finished it, but the interior is still in damn good condition for the year. I did change the rug out because the one that came with it was stained to hell.

Well, the thing I have learned about the 420A engine, it is really a neon engine (DOHC) before they did away with them and went SOHC. for one, if you're going to yank out the engine, I'd consider doing a tear down, find higher compression pistons, like 11-11.5:1 vs the 9.6:1 ratio piston that is in it, and replace the rods as well with some better performance rods. (higher comp. ratio will help with more power for N/A) Have the engine balanced, just because these engines are known for balance issues in the crank, and use an ATI fluid damper, very helpful. Then have the head done with a port, polish, then a 3 - 5 angle valve job, beefing up the head with a better valve train, then find some cams that will help the car to breathe better. Remember to beef up the timing belt, as well, eg. Kevlar timing belt. definitely use a cometic head gasket, they are excellent and take abuse. Have the IM polished out, NOT ported and polished, just Polished, on the inside that is. At the same time see about having the TB max bored to 60-65mm. And if you should have all of this done, be sure to go with some slightly bigger injectors, and a pump to back them up, and an engine management system to help everything else out. Then see a transmission shop, and see about re gearing the tranny for quicker times, ect. I'd consider some rims that are NOT HEAVY, and yet durable, Spoon makes some for Most Honda 5 lug, and they are light, and durable. Keep in mind the lug pattern on your ride, and some Honda are 5 x 114.4, and 5 x 100. But check out some other light weight rims as well. I'd keep going but this is really long enough for now. Also keep in mind, i'm not the smartest person in the world, I'm just there to help my fellow human. Take it easy, and keep me posted.
