3KGT: So while I was at work today, someone slashed all 4 of my tires...yeah great day....so I had to get a wrecker to get my car at 10 after work, I know who did it but bc they wont admit it and there arent witnesses, im screwed.

3KGT: No its my ex's current bf. My insurance covered it but you know how all that works...New tires came to $500.21, insurance only gave me $365 FULL COVERAGE....its a joke but better than nothing I guess. I just ordered a 2-way alarm system with a security camera that starts recording whenever the alarm is activated so hopefully that will help it from happening again.

grnbimmer28: Yeah i go through essex once in a while. The trunk looks great. Looks like you have done alot of things to your ride. So yo have HID on the fogs...you planning on doing HIDs for the headlights. I have have them for headlight and they are so bright and i can see everything. I think some people think i have my high beams on all the time. Thanks for commenting.

vt6spd: The BMW of course is faster. The celica is a peppy ride, but the old Beamer probably weights about the same now that its gutted and has a straight 6 in it. Same horse power, but rear wheel drive! But, almost 400 miles to the tank in the Celica...not so good in the Beamer.

3KGT: Just installed my HID kit, check it out. I'll be ordering a high beam and fog light set next. The lows are 8000k, the highs will be 8000k, any ideas for fogs?

3KGT: Hey Jake, check out the new car I picked up its on my page

3KGT: Haha sweet indeed! It is much faster than the 3k in the low end anyways, I havent gone anything over 75 with it so I dont know about the top end. And, compared to the 3k, it has a governor. The 600W amp is doing alright but because GM ran the ECU through the stock radio, I cant remove/replace it with an aftermarket. That means I had to use a hi.lo converter for the amp RCAs. So that being said, the bass on the stock radio controls the amp bass input, 0 is still loud as hell. So I will still be selling it. I found a kicker amp that is exactly 750W rms and it has the remote control for the gain which would make it much easier to adjust the bass.

3KGT: Yeah it just so happens that the 3k and the Impala have the same bulbs so I just swapped the HIDS! But the impala has very little room behind the headlights so im going to be selling these HID's for the new slim kits - .5" ballasts. I am also getting a set of 6000k fog HID's.

3KGT: Damn I might be SOL then. All of my HID's keep going out randomly because the wires are too bent up due to lack of space and bad chevy engineering. Royal PITA and I am honestly sick of dealing with them haha. I tried everything from zip tying the wires straight to electrical taping them. Nothing seems to be working.

My car should be finished this week (body wise) then paint is next -_- I might just have this car for show, and I might start a new AWD project, energy suspension subframe bushings as well as sway bar bushings. power steering rack, bearings is already done.. just needs motor work ha ha.. might just drop the motor from mine into that.. not any time soon that's for sure, but down the road.

newton: me to, cant even do a good burnout leaving the hooters car show without it breaking! i did a nasty burnout for like 30-40 ft the night before, without a problem.

newton: my bad, i measured the burnout cause its from my driveway and its 68 feet, so its not really unexpected that the transmission went, the previous owner like too do burnouts too, the cars had a ruff life, but the engines been chaged and taken care of and running strong.

92eagle: nice man, nice, I have my 3' downpipe on now, but my dumb ass forgot that my cat was like 2' or 2.5 so my cat will fit inside lol so now im riding around with a straight piped sounds like a thunder road street stock HAHA. I'm calling burlington muffler 2m to get a price on a mid pipe back 3' because it's riduclously loud.. I spin 2nd gear when my turbo spools now couldnt do that before I would say about a 15hp increase. plus i cleaned my o2 housing which was gunked to hell.. im running so rich I have to diagnos that, I think the tb vac lines i blocked off made it run a little too rich..well.. Better than lean. ttyl

tifreak: well right now that's just a fantasy off in the distance, but once I actually get around to doing an engine swap I'll probably just use the engine from a 325 or something since they're cheaper, generally less beat on, and with a few simple mods can make the same amount of power, but until then the 4-banger keeps me out of trouble with the police lol

Frost: It's getting there. Ended up doing new tie rods, license plate light, and muffler hanger. Hoping to tint my tail lights again now that I'm inspected and all. Also picked up a couple rolls of 5% for the back sides, and rear glass. Next mod is going to be black euro tail lights, and next to come after that will hopefully be the carbon fiber evo style hood :) How's your new project coming along?

67mustang971: That sucks about the rain! As far as the prep work on the track it seems to be OK. I haven't raced at other tracks so I have nothing to compare to, I know I can't rev past 1000 rpms or all I do is spin...

90SITurboHatch: The civic is gone now, I would like to pick up a crx to play with now. I like the volvo it looks clean. I had a 740 turbo intercooler and it was quick all I did was got a boost controller and turned it up when I wonted I am driving that laser now it took a few month to get everything in it and it running good. All I have left is to put in the now intake manifold(just been lazy)

ruckusracer: after putting in the new motor and tuning it the right way, i really havent found top speed yet or gotten it dynoed, so i dont know exactly what the new specs would be. But she is pretty quick off the line and keeps up with some of the tricked out integras around here.

I drove it last winter too and never got stuck with it once and it had summer tires on it, i have snows on it now so it will be even better. Psycareyo: Thanks for the comment. It's about as fast as every other 335hp/365 tq 4600 pound + truck lol. I just drove a crew max 08 5.7L Tundra and it had nothing on my truck. Then again...it's like 6,000 pounds so....

Turner79: It's the fastest car i own. But really its not that fast in comparison to other cars out there. Typical 350, car weighs a shit load though. I'm actually lookin into getting a 383 stroker crate motor with 500 hp. I saw it in a jegs catalog. The price is pretty reasonable too. It was about $5500

bolial: Thanx man, sweet ride yourself I love euro's. As far as fast it's not too bad, but it's stock so it's pretty decent for stock anways. The Teg has came a long way from when I first bought it and still has quite a way to go yet. I'm in the middle of trying to figure out what engine I want to throw into it. I have to do a little more research on it because i wouldn't mind something with more power jdm or something that I could directly bold in and onto my tranny, or even use the same wiring harnedd but i know thats probably not going to happen. I think I want something with a little more performance that'll bolt to my tranny for sure, but if I need to get a new brain, wiring harness & engine mount kit i'll deal with that, I just don't want to change the tranny & everything else around that goes along with that. Sounds like too much of a hassle to me. Anwyays man take care

ruckusracer: Everything is already on, I just dont have updated pics yet. And the car is at nates auto getting tranny work done. I couldnt get it into gear so they are going to take a look at the slave cylinder, master cylinder and synchros.

Defining: A tune and exhaust alone should be able to put you in the 13's I would think. SLOWEG8: I went down with a bunch of people...My buddy Seth (won 1st. place at SCD in his class), S60 R awd, it's a black 6spd, don't know what year it is other than it's very rare, and not many folks have the 6spd around where we live at least, my gf's 9-5 (I took that down while she had my car), and my buddy Pete's black 9-5 Aero (He won 1st. place in his class that day too, I believe he's a member on here, but not sure if he's an active member anymore). Also, one of his friends who has a cranberry red-ish color 9-5, his name was Nick from the Hartford/Wilder area.

pete93t: i just enter the saab compilation. oh ya shes a little faster now. i put down 225whp and 251wtrq stock on 14psi. its running 25 consistently now i hope to reach the 300whp mark this may or better :)

pete93t: ya you should be able to pick one up for around 500 or so or send in your td04 for mods

pete93t: ya the 9-5 aero runs a td04hl15t. the older 9000 aeros were a 16t. you should be fine with what you have for a wile you can acheive a lot more power with just a good exhaust, intake, and a good software program. pull that MBC right out of there and get an ecu tune its a night and day difference. an exhaust, intake and 700$ tune got me over 60whp on the stock turbo

67mustang971: Your right I think it would be a good race.. It sucks when you line up against a really fast or really slow car. I'm right around 2.0-2.1 for my 60' when I leave at a idle. We'll definitely have to have some fun this summer! How many people do you go to the track with?

Frost: Made the decision that I'm not going to be modding it unfortunately. Even though it would be sweet to have a boosted lancer, I really have my eye set on building an Integra GSR

Frost: Yeah i think so as well. The initial plan was to pop a 4g63t into the Lancer but that fizzled fund-wise pretty quick. That and not a lot of support for the SOHC 4G94 Lancer engine lol. Hondas on the other hand have huge support so hopefully I'll be able to put jump into one soon.. oh and I'll have my flame suit ready :)

Defining: I was jk man. But it did kinda suck to drive such a slow car that was suppose to be fast. I wanted to upgrade to something faster that came turbocharged from the factory. I've always liked the look and it's pretty quick so I'm happy. How's the Volvo treating you these days?

tifreak: no, it's not, it's the same displacement but this one is a single cam and it's the same design BMW used in the 60's, lol supposedly it put out 90hp at the crank when it came out
